Sermon: Psalm 19 - “God the Revelator” - David Rountree

The World Book—General Revelation (1-6)

  1. Creation studies are worth our time and money.

  2. Recognize that you and I are not stuck in ignorance.

  3. Realize God’s creation never ceases to speak of the glory of God

  4. Notice that we do not have to make our studies “Christian” to validate them.

  5. Recognize we will agree with non-Christians.

The Word Book—Special Revelation (7-11)

  1. Non-Christians can read but not understand scripture properly (1 Cor. 2:11-15).

  2. Whoever believes in Jesus will not be disappointed (Rom.10:11-17).

  3. All scripture is profitable for us (2 Tim. 3:16).

  4. We should not neglect whatever it takes to abide in God’s word.

  5. We should not neglect church (Matt. 28:19-20; 2 Tim. 4:2; Col. 3:16).
