ADULT MINISTRIES
This ministry encompasses all those adult aged who want to engage in the community at New Covenant Church through fellowship, discipleship and serving. For more information, contact the group leader of your interested ministry listed below.
discipleship hour
11:10 AM - 12:00 PM Sunday after service and coffee fellowship
Led by our Elders and lay leaders.
Please stay and join us for this short and engaging hour that covers topics based on gaining a greater knowledge of who God is and what he says in His word. Each quarter offers 1-4 classes to choose from. Click Latest Newsletter to see our current class offerings.
After our Worship Service, we host a 15-minute time of fellowship over coffee followed by a 45-minute Discipleship Hour. Discipleship Hour is the equivalent of what some have called “Sunday School.” For adults, we offer a variety of classes that change every quarter. You can always check out the flyer on the Welcome Table for the current listings. Discipleship Hour is typically filled with theologically rich and practical classes you will find extremely fruitful for becoming a well-taught and well-equipped disciple of Christ.
With service ending around 11am, most of us would not have plans before Sunday lunch anyways, so this a great opportunity to dive deeper into the Word. Our Discipleship Classes end promptly at noon. It is also another opportunity to get further connected with New Covenant since you will be able to meet additional people. We hope you will consider joining us for Discipleship Hour! It is an easy next step to getting more involved at New Covenant.
We also record some of these classes and put them on our website, so if you miss a week you can always catch up at ncchurch.net/discipleship.
Men’s groups
Men’s Ministry brings men together to develop friendships, have fun, and encourage each other. But most importantly our passion and purpose is to help develop men into godly leaders for their church, their families, their place of work, and their communities. For more information or to get connected, contact our Discipleship and Congregational Care Pastor, Tom Buiter buiter@ncchurch.net
woMen’s groups
Our Women’s Ministry is focused on helping you learn to love the Lord your God. We listen to God through prayer and bible study. We rejoice that no matter what you are going through, we can hold fast to Him. For more info, contact our Guest Services and Women’s Ministry Counselor, Mikala Pannell pannell@ncchurch.net
Home Ministry Groups
Home Ministry Groups are gatherings of singles and families who meet (typically) on the first and third Sunday of each month. These groups are committed to “continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” (Acts 2:42). For more information or to get connected, contact our Discipleship and Congregational Care Pastor, Tom Buiter buiter@ncchurch.net
SERVING GROUPS
We have many ways to share your God-given gifts at New Covenant. There are opportunities through congregational care teams, worship ministries, guest services, youth and family life, and our Building the Generations vision.
