Evaluate Your Depression

  1. Depression does not have to be a spiritual life problem.

  2. Depression could be a spiritual life problem.

Encourage Your Development

  1. Develop self-denial and greater dependence upon God (Ps. 42:1, 2).

  2. Set aside time for meditation on past blessings (Ps. 42:4, 6).

  3. Realize multiple places for spiritual development (Ps. 42:4, 6).

  4. Pray for deliverance (Ps. 42:8, 9; Ps. 43:1, 2).

  5. Make use of God's Word and Spirit (Ps. 43:3).

  6. Determine to go to God in regular worship and service (Ps. 43:4).
