WAYS STEALING OCCURS
A. When taking what someone else has a right to have
Taking the property of God's Sabbath (Exod. 20:8-11; Mark 2:28).
Taking the property of God's tithe (Mal. 3:8-10).
Taking property of people (Lev. 19:13).
Taking a person against their will (Exod. 21:16).
B. When keeping what someone else has a right to have
Keeping information others need (Lev. 19:35,36; Prov. 16:11; 20:10; Deut. 25:13-16).
Keeping what others pay us for (Eph. 6:5-7).
Keeping money you contractually owe (Lev. 19:13).
C. When over-charging (Neh. 5:7-11)
WHY STEALING OCCURS & WHAT CAN BE DONE TO AVOID IT
Because we neglect private property stewardship.
Because we fail to understand providence.
Because we are covetous.
Because we have a lazy wasteful lifestyle.
